How it works_

To have your own website, you really only need 3 things:

  1. A web host, which is a server where your website files are stored
  2. A domain name, which is the address of your website (for example mybusiness.com)
  3. A website, which consists of the files on the server that make your website

What it costs_

Hosting your website will cost about 300 kr per month, or 3 000 kr per year. This is for a CMS (Content Management System) website, which lets you manage and update your website easily on your own, without needing to know how to code. This way, you're not dependent on us to make changes to your website. We also offer a static site hosting service for websites that don't need to be updated often. This costs around 100 kr per month, or 1 000 kr per year. There is no fine print, you can cancel at any time.

We can help you purchase your domain name. Prices vary, but a .no domain usually costs around 120 kr per year, while .com domains tend to be a bit cheaper. If you want to add email accounts, such as [email protected], the cost is about 350 kr per year for each account.

The price for building the actual website varies a lot. A basic website that only displays some information can be as cheap as 2 500 kr, while a more complex website with special functionalities could cost 50 000 kr.
